He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Pettit and Mae Ashley Pettit; his wife Ann Pettit; and his siblings, Ruby Jean Lawson, Ray, Doyle and Joe Pettit.
He is survived by: his son Drew; his daughter-in-law Beth Pettit; his daughter Bethaney; his son-in-law Mark Reagan; his grandchildren, Kaci Ray, Mara Beth Reagan, Cooper Pettit and Tanner Pettit; his sister-in-law Shirley Pettit; and his close friend Shirley Wright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid19 conditions the family will not have visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the McDonald Volunteer Fire Department.
