He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Maybelle Melton, Kirk and Ruth South; and his close friend Vickie Hunter Plaxico.
He is survived by: his parents, Joe South and Carole South of Michie, TN; his daughter Jessica Anderson; his grandchildren, Andrew, Eric, William and Amelia; his sisters, Michelle Price (Danny) of Michie, TN and Kimberly Lambert (Ryan) of Michie, TN; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Price, Christy Arnold (Brant), Jessica Wheeler, Jeremy Poindexter, John Price (Hailey Johnson), Asher Price, Austin Lambert, Bentley Lambert, Aliyah Wheeler, Lane Wheeler, Hunter Wheeler, Madelyn Wheeler, Dani Shae Sawyer, Caden Mask, JC Price and Cullen Price; and his friends, Barbara Sue Murphy, Don Briley, Stephanie Price and John Dickerson.
