He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Louis Phillips and Bertha Schultz Phillips; his siblings, Forrest Phillips of Arab, Alabama., Mark Phillips of Arab, Alabama. and Tommie Jo Cosby (Steve) of Arab, Alabama.; his wife Janet Wilson Phillips; his children, Sheila Deeann "Deedee" Kruzan (Brett) and Richard Douglas Phillips, Jr. (Barbara); his grandchildren, Talbot Kruzan, Hayes Kruzan (Abbey), Elise Kruzan and Kate Phillips; and his nieces and nephews, Mandy, Layla, Whitney, Justin, Sarah, Ava, Davis, Eli, Evie, Ethan and Emie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home (5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
