She was predeceased by: her parents, James Davis, Jr. and Geraldine Jolly. She is survived by: her children, James Carson Jr., Tiffany Carson, Tamara Carson and Tara Lockett of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38111). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Early Grove Baptist Church (557 Lester St, Memphis, TN 38112).
