She was predeceased by: her daughter Elizabeth Capwell; her parents, Queenie Webb and Howard Webb; and her siblings, Harold Webb, Tommy McCoy, Betty Hannah and Mary Shireman.
She is survived by: her husband Jeff Capwell; her son Ross Capwell (Nora); her grandchildren, Jeff Capwell (Caitlin), Katie Howell (Ford), Ashley Stollberg (Brad), Kevin Umsted and Cara Foster (Aaron); her siblings, Howard Webb (Vickie) and Diana Jenkins; and her friend Demetrius Wiggins. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Church (4488 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38117). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Delta State University, c/o Capwell Music Scholarship.
