He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollin Ownby and Oteria Bunn Ownby; and his siblings, Joyce Ownby and Billy Ownby. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Price Ownby of McKenzie; his children, Vicky Clark (Victor) of Springville, Terry Ownby of Atwood, Saudia Akin (Dana) of McKenzie and Kyle Manns (Kim) of McKenzie; his sister Wanda McCaskey (Charles) of Cookville; and his grandchildren, Jill Kennedy (Harris), Thomas Clark (Holly), Rachael Wade (Allen), Clint Manns (Emily), Corey Manns, Brad Stafford, Chris Wall (Becky), Allan Akin and Alec Akin (Colby). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
