He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hess and Dorthy Suhr Hess. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hess of McKenzie; his sons, Christopher Hess of Eaton, OH and Brian Hess (Wendy) of Ft. Myers, FL; his stepson Scott Kinney of Riverview, FL; his sister Janet Coughlin (Kevin) of Chipley, FL; and his granddaughter Kelsey Wheeler.
