He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Dunlap Bowers; his sons, Charles Bowers and Chris Hoffman; his brother Weldon Ray Bowers; and his grandson Drake Pate.
He is survived by: his wife Jettie Ann Biggs Bowers of McKenzie; his children, Tammy Trevathan (Kenny Wayne) of McKenzie, Tony Bowers (Donna) of Paris, Jason Hoffman (Andrea) of Paris and Bobby Joe Hoffman of Paris; his sister-in-law Pat Bowers of Henry, TN; and his sisters, Becky Aldridge (James) of McKenzie, Ruthie Miller (Jerry) of McKenzie and Judy Moore (Mike) of Michie, TN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
