He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth K. Slawson and Wilber S. Slawson; his sister Eldora; his brother-in-law Edward Sickler; his parents-in-law, Mae and Irvin Leach; and his brother-in-law Alan Skouby.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen, Steven, Annie, Mary of Virginia Beach and Thomas Parker Slawson (Lana); his grandchildren, Parker and Lane of Maryville; his son Charles Samuel Slawson (April); his grandson Nathaniel of Maryville; his children, Dawn Traficanti, Bryan of Denver and Donna Goldy (late John); his grandchildren, Shawn, Michelle of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Dianne Schiavonne (Joseph); his children, Dori and Daniel of Marlboro, NY.; and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Skouby of Columbia, MO and Jennie Peth of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Maryville or Shannondale of Maryville.
