He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Ellen Henson Chance and Von Darnell Chance, Sr.; and his grandparents, Paulette, Ernest Henson, John and Zelma Chance.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Chance; his stepchildren, Mary Grace Taylor (Ben), Patrick Morgan (Emily) and Laura Morgan (Christopher); his grandchildren, Nora, Violet, Charlie Taylor, Bradley and Evelyn Morgan; his brother Terry Chance (Regina); and his nieces, Jennifer Hall (Mitch) and Julia Chance.
