He was predeceased by: his fathers, Virgil Broome and Leo Broome; his brother Ralph Broome; his brother-in-law Jimmy Gore; his niece Teresa Duncan; and his great grandchild Audie Broome.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Broome (Karen) of Seymour, TN, Jason Broome of Richland, MS and William Broome (Tammy) of Raymond, MS; his sisters, Mavis Broome of Brandon, MS, Barbara Gore of Pearl, MS and Debbie Broom (Charlie) of Bassfield, MS; his grandchildren, Ryan Broome (Soren), Kyle Broome, Scott Burnette, Hunter Broome, Rainy Broome and Lessie Broome; and his niece Anita Stapp. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
