With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Jenkins Simpson (Maryville, Tennessee), who passed away on March 5, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Simpson; her son Roger Simpson; her grandchildren, Richard "Ricky" Talley and Stacey Simpson; her parents, Ella Jenkins and Richard Jenkins; and her siblings, Otis Jenkins (Pearl), Annie Estelle McDonald (Tom), Ettea Mae Yarbrough (Everett) and Elsie (Lynn).
She is survived by: her daughter Carlene Talley; her son-in-law Richard Talley; her grandson Jeff Talley; and her stepsisters, Clara Ruth Townson, Evelyn and Ruby. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, share the light for Haiti, Jennifer and David Reece and/or Fairview Methodist Church Missions.
