She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Horace R. Lillard and Nixie Young Lillard; and her siblings, E. Ray Lillard, James Lillard, Gene Lillard and Betty Lillard Johnston.

She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Shelly Lynn; and her grandson Chase Hoard.
