He was predeceased by: his parents, Flora Miller Burchfield and Otis Burchfield; his sister June; and his brother-in-law Fred Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Verna Henry Burchfield; his sons, Rick (Joni) and Gary Burchfield (Robin); his grandsons, Richard Burchfield (Akiko), Brandon Burchfield (Shala) and Cole Burchfield; and his great grandchildren, Emory, Channing and Camden Burchfield.
