It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruth Cardwell of Maryville, Tennessee, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Cardwell; her parents, Elmer Waltermyer and Helen Waltermyer; and her brothers, Wayne, Fred and Eddie Waltermyer.
She is survived by: her son Danny; her daughter-in-law Kelly Cardwell; her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law Eric Cutshaw; her sister Irene Mayes; her grandchildren, Zach Cardwell, Kaleb Cardwell, Emily Haddock and Jenna Cutshaw; and her great grandchild Jameson "Bear" Haddock. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
