He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Hope Crisp; his parents, Samuel Lee and Anna Lee Crisp; and his siblings, Loraine Crisp, Raymond Crisp, Dean Richards, Patricia King, Carol Nuchols, Michael Crisp and Lisa Browning.
He is survived by: his daughter Betty Kay; his son-in-law Timothy "Alf" Lindsey, Jr.; his son Timothy Charles Lamar; his daughter-in-law Mindy Crisp; his grandchildren, Kayla Hopper, Julie Jones, Chasity Lee Crisp, Brianna Tindell, Alicia Haney, Tyler Jones, Landon Lindsey, Isaac Crisp and Bryson Crisp; and his siblings, Barbara Ogle, James Crisp, Roger Crisp, Mark Crisp, Paul Crisp and Cindy Rowland.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help with funeral expenses.
