She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Gembecki and Lillian Gembecki. She is survived by: her husband Laurence Rex; her children, Jessica Richards (Tom) and Steven Rex; her grandchildren, Tommy Richards, Rachel Rex, Jackie Hicks and Samantha Richards; her great grandchild Chloe Hicks; and her brother Richard Gembecki (Elizabeth). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to either a children's charity or an animal charity.
