She was predeceased by: her parents, W. V. Smothers and Cora Lee Williams Smothers; and her brothers, Orren Smothers and W. V. Smothers Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Lee Cecil (Lori) of Hernando Beach, FL, Arlie James Cecil (Tracie) of Simpsonville, SC, Charlie William Cecil and Teresa Elizabeth Cecil Henline (Gary) of Maryville, TN; and her brother Winford Smothers (Betty) of Plain City, OH. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
