He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Kirkland; and his brothers, David, Johnny and Richard. He is survived by: his mother Pearl Kirkland; his wife Brenda Kirkland; his children, Jeff Kirkland (Jean), Crystal Southerland (Steve) and Laura Kirkland; his grandchildren, Kody, Kenzie, Neo, Lily and Max; his great grandchildren, Rawlin, August, Bren, Kennedy, Jennifer, Leo and Logan; and his adoptive daughter Sheila Shirk (Catie). He is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
