He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlow Melvin Hearon and Ada Blanche Boring Hearon; and his grandfather Albert. He is survived by: his children, Gilmore Hearon, Tenna "Mammy" Annis Carpenter Hearon, Leonard Thomas Boring and Lena Mae Carver Boring; his wife Carolyn "Pinky" Hearon; his daughter Stephanie; his son-in-law Larry Wyatt, Jr.; and his siblings, Carol Kron, Anita Clark (Paul) and Dwaine Hearon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; numerous close cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
