He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Montez; and his mother Susie Campos. He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his children, Rosa-Linda, Veronica, Jesse Jr., Guillermo and Priscilla; his grandchildren, Gambit, Gavin Claire, Coraline, Oberon, Zoe, Molly and Charlotte; and his siblings, Augustine Montez, Mary Lou McCrary, Shirley Montez-Posas, Jim Campos and Fernando Campos. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
