He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Debbie Dunlap (Brian); his siblings, Charles Staley of Maryville and Judy McNeilly of Murrsville, GA.; and his stepdaughter Michelle Kelly (Sam) of Jacksonville, FL..

In lieu of flowers, Dad would like donations to be sent to the Friendsville Volunteer Fire Department, and The Friendsville Friends Church in honor of Margaret Stapleton.
