He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Godfrey and Rae Godfrey; his siblings, Bobby, Buddy, Richard Godfrey (Dick) and Dorothy Pearcy; and his son Kevin Godfrey.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Godfrey; his children, Michael Godfrey (Janet) and Christina Talley (Richard); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas, Darien and Micah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
