She is survived by: her husband Bill Burns; her children, Chuck Burns (Vicky), Prima Simmons (Mike) and Sharron Waddell (Mark); her grandchildren, Chas Burns (Katie), Casey Burns, Christen Waddell, Kathryn Waddell, Alex Simmons, Emily Simmons, Bennett Waddell and Anna Grace Simmons; and her sister Jane Plumlee.
