He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Parks Barnes Graves and Cecil Wingate Barnes; his stepfather Henry Graves; and his siblings, June Anderson, Douglas Barnes and Jack Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Barnes; his sisters, Gerry Garrett (Jack) and Marilyn Giddings; his children, Denise Barnes McLeroy (Ron) and Michael Dale Barnes (Penny); his grandchildren, Allison McLeroy Armstrong (Joseph), Nicole Barnes Scott (Taylor), Erin Barnes and Andrew Phillip McLeroy; and his great grandchildren, Kayden Armstrong, Hayley Armstrong, Sutler Scott, Lennon Scott and Levie Scott. He is also survived by his family and friends.
