She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Cleveland Green and Jimmie Ann Green (Frazier) of Christiana, Tennessee.; her husband Claude Burks; and her brothers, Earnest Green (Jessie Pearl) and Earvin Green (Thelma).

She is survived by: her sister Lou Adena Smith (Green); and her children, Launora Ann Elkins (Franklin), Claudia Jan Alford (Billy), Claude Cleveland Burks (Peggy), Johnny Dale Burks (Penny), Amy Denise Sherrell (Billy) and Angela Pam Rhea (late Jim). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great, great, grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews and a great host of friends.
