It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan A. Murray of Manchester, Tennessee, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Katzmarski and Julia Katzmarski (O'Connell); her husband Thomas P. Murray; her children, Joan Murray, Barbara Levine and Thomas Murray; her son-in-law Lynn Pettingill; and her sister Patricia Katzmarski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Pettingill, Patty Murray of Sweetwater and Kathy Tapia (Charles) of Oceanside; her grandchildren, John Jr. Monk (JoAnn), Amanda Cruz (Alex), Jason Levine (Heather), Jennifer Higgins (Dan) and Thomas Tapia; and her great grandchildren, Chole Wellner, John III, Justin Monk, Bruce and Henry Levine.
