She was predeceased by: her parents, James Davis and Nancy Davis; her husband James Thompson; her children, Michael Thompson and Rita Cass; her siblings, James Davis, Willy Davis, Willard Davis, Glenna Cochran, Betty Thompson and Eva Bass; and her grandsons, Bruce Thompson and Donald Teal.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Thompson, Terry Thompson, Charles Thompson (Nicole) and Wava Sherman; and her sisters, Lela Thompson, Effie Monroe, Lou Cooper and Thelma Means (Charlie). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
