It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Sawyer of Manchester, Tennessee, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sawyer and Gerti Sawyer. He is survived by: his son Gary; his wife Jean Martinez; and his stepchildren, Dean Woodward (Buffy), Bret Woodson (Arianna), Tammy Seals (Kerry), Anita Magdaleno (Juan), Juanita Rush (Kit), Tiffany Penaloza (Santiago) and Alicia Woodward (David). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
