It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Brown Young of Manchester, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Harrison and Eula Arminda Brown (Stockton); her husband Charles Reeves Young, Jr.; her brothers, Grady Brown (Judy) and John Brown (Frances); and her son-in-law Jerry Gibbs.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Gibbs of Manchester, Diane Jones (Greg) of Nashville and David Young (Lisa) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Joy Naifeh (Tiffany Dembowski), Kohl Young, Karson Young, Mark Naifeh (Whitney Flatt), Alexis Miller and Sam Miller (Katie); and her great grandchild Mitchell Noah Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
