He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel M. Knott and Nancy Savannah Smith Knott; and his grandson Dawson Tyler Knott. He is survived by: his wife Delores Knott of Manchester; his son Edward L. Knott Jr. (Mary) of Manchester; his sisters, Jackie Bowman (Taylor) of Summerville and Julia Ann Knott of Summerville; his granddaughter Keesha Renee Knott; his great-nephew Jacob Knight of Gruetli-Laager; and his great-niece Rylee Westerfield of Monteagle.
