We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 40, Brooke Smartt of Manchester, Tennessee, born in Altamont, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, James, Gladys Walden, Thomas and Joyce Smartt; her uncle Jeff Walden; and her sister Jessica Smartt.

She is survived by: her parents, Ronald Smartt and Sandra Walden Halliday (Jerry); her children, Wade Alexander Swearington and Madison Hope Smartt; her siblings, Jody Brian Walden, Jason Smartt and Jamie Smartt; her stepsister Kerri Mosier (Scott); her friend Holli Avans; her close friend Trinae Lashley; and her pet Squirt. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

For those who wish, the family asks that donations in lieu of flowers be made to the Tennessee Kidney Foundation- 37 Peabody St. #206, Nashville, TN 37210.
