He was predeceased by: his parent James Plunkett; his wife Lydie Mae Plunkett; his children, Robert Plunkett, Mary Francis Plunkett and Betty Jo Gordon; his brother Elgie Plunkett; his half-brother Dennis Rogers; and his sister Madie Tidwell.
He is survived by: his parent Tennie Harrington Plunkett; his daughters, Roy Plunkett (Evelyn) of Centerville and Charles Plunkett of Lyles; and his grandchildren, Dorothy Osborne (Keith) of Bon Aqua, Peggy Terlecki (Larry) of Lyles, Audrey Pendergrass (Terry) of Chapmansboro and Barbara Tidwell (Larry) of Lyles. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
