He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hicks and Lura Hicks; and his brother Earl Hicks, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Hicks; his daughter Mitzi; his son-in-law Ray Ivey; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Lisa Hicks; and his siblings, Fred, Tommy, Doris Bivens and Faye Lennon. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
