He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Kimberly Ann; his parents, Omer O. Dyer Sr. and Irene Mullins Dyer; his brothers, Robert L. Dyer (Doris) and Harold K. Dyer; his nephew Kenneth Dyer; his son-in-law Jeffrey H. August; his wife Betty Proffitt Dyer; his children, Steven Owen Dyer and Lisa Dyer August; his grandson James Dyer August (Hannah Murrah); his sister-in-law Janet Dyer; his nephew Keith Dyer (Dee Dee); and his nieces, Karen Inzana (Tom) and Debra Clayman (Barry). He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
While the family will be accepting flowers, donation may also be made to Beech Grove Baptist Church designated for Builders On Mission or Louisville Christian Assistance Center in Omer's memory.
