He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia; and his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hurst Shields; his children, Terri Shields Bobo (William Jr.) and George; his grandchildren, William Bobo III (Kristin) and Dawn Bobo; and his cousins, John Rogers, Roy Rogers, Faye Rogers Stafford, Doris Rogers, Marie Rogers McMahan and Sam Rogers. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter and four great-grandsons.
