She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Matthews and Leta Matthews; her siblings, Ray, Horace, Earl, Claude Matthews, Florenceanna Hall and Frances Matthews; her son-in-law John Swift; and her great grandchild Grayson Spicer.
She is survived by: her significant other Clarence Spicer of Rickman, TN; her children, Lisa Reagan (Shawn) of Huntsville, AL, Jana Swope (Brad) of Gallatin, TN, Charlie Spicer (Heather) of Alpine, TN and Randy Spicer of Cookeville, TN; and her brother Hoyet Matthews (Louise) of Livingston, TN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Okalona Cemetery Fund or the Backpack Ministry of Bangham Heights Baptist Church in Cookeville, TN.
