He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Elaine Pulley Cherry; his children, Angela Lea Cherry Roberts (Jerry) and David Scott Cherry (Shelly Savage Cherry); his sister Janet Smith (Tim); his sister-in-law Peggy Slaughter (Herbert); and his granddaughters, Brittany Allen (Laci), Stephanie Vanhooser (Trey) and Kayla Allen Chase Roberts (Dustin). He is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews.
