She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Hamby; her parent Ruth Carr Amerson; her siblings, Robert Amerson, Forrest Amerson, Edgar Amerson, Emma Jean Smith, Brenda Kennemer and Virginia Lauderdale; and her daughters-in-law, Cathy Hamby and Carlene Townsend.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Marie Morgan (Jerry) of New Johnsonville, Larry Gene Hamby of Pulaski and Billy Wade Hamby (Lori) of Petersburg; and her grandchildren, Michael Wayne (Julie), Becky (Charles), Bryan, Monica, Jeremy, Seth, Savannah, Kathy Lynn, Gabriel, Aiden and Israel.
