He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Gambrell and Lucy Black Gambrell. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Douglas Gambrell of Port Charlotte and Michael Wayne Gambrell; his siblings, Bobby Gambrell of Leoma and Pearl Gieger of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Mason Douglas Gambrell of Port Charlotte, Ashley Alexis Gambrell and Mia Thorisdottir; and his significant other Janie Hampton of Monteagle.
