He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Walter and Lillie Mae Fort Grainger; and his siblings, Christine Grainger, Travis Grainger and Ray Grainger.
He is survived by: his sister Bernadine Tice of Lawrenceburg; his nieces, Karen Dunkin of Leoma and Debra Grainger; his nephew Allen Grainger (Connie); and also, Daron Dunkin (Mary) and Tammy Cavanough (Rick).
