He was predeceased by: his parents, Valcar E. Jarrett and Josephine Lewis Jarrett; his wife Linda Jarrett; his son David Jarrett; his stepson Scott Hughes; and his sister Mary Dubsky.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Lynn Jarrett (Patti) of Milltown, IN and Jerry Jarrett of McKenzie; his stepchildren, Stephen Hughes (Noel) of Milan and Melinda Simons (David) of Milan; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Jarrett of McKenzie. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great grandson.
