It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell L Adams of Lafollette, Tennessee, born in Coshocton, Ohio, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Adams and Isabell Adams; his siblings, Gene Adams, George Adams, Lorna Griffith and Jim Adams; his sons, Kim Asher, Mike Adams and Doug Adams; his stepson Max Van Fossen; his grandson Mike Adams II; and his great grandchild Myah Knecht.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Black Adams of Zanesville Ohio; his daughter Becky Cooney (Greg) of Jacksboro, TN; his grandchildren, Lisa Duke, Laura Rikard, Angie Ault, Angie Adams, Stephanie Adams, Sarah Bowen, Mary Knecht, Jennifer Noel, Chris Cooney, Chris Van Fossen, Jeremy Van Fossen, Jestin Van Fossen, Brian Asher, Mike Asher and Chris Asher; his daughters-in-law, Betty Adams and Tami Asher; his stepdaughters, Jan Van Fossen and Sue Van Fossen; and his grandchild Chaney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
