Russell Figueira Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Figueira of Lafollette, Tennessee, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on November 4, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Joaquim and Beryl Kalikookalani Figueira; and his brothers, Antone and Larry Figueira. He is survived by: his wife Donna Smith Figueira; his daughters, Jennifer Figueira (Randy Roland), Carrie Anderson (Ryan), Mary Elizabeth Elam (Mark) of Russell, A. K, Amanda Cruze (Eldon) and Abigail Peach (Michael); and his siblings, Gerald Figueira, Nathan Figueira, Kevin Figueira and Toni Burris. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (215 Wildwood Cir, LaFollette, TN 37766). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hill Cemetery.
For the majority of his professional career, he served as an Executive with several automotive oil companies, and for a time, was employed with the American Kidney Foundation and was a Patient Representative for the UT Center for Transplant Services.
