He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Paul and Alpha Paul Sutton; and his brothers, Ronnie, Charles, Curtis and Chester Paul.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Miller Paul; his brother Donnie Paul (Lydia); and his sisters-in-law, Jerri Starrett and Gay Paul.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
