She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Butts and Lucy Byrd Butts; her husband John Harris Rutledge III; and her grandparents, Evie Byrd and Ed Byrd.
She is survived by: her son John Mack Rutledge (Jan) of La Vergne; her grandchildren, Olivia St. John of Nashville and Karli Rutledge of La Vergne; her brother Mack Butts (Donna) of Dover; and her nieces, Marcine and Lucynda.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to La Vergne First Methodist Church.
