She is survived by: her children, Edward Murphy (Allison), Patricia Murphy (Lou Novick) and David Murphy (Diania); and her siblings, Mary Ann Phillips of West Virginia, Palmer Dickerson of Kernersville, NC, Thurman Dickerson Jr. of Princeton, W. V and Jack Dickerson of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
