He is survived by: his children, Victor Robert Defenderfer, Sharon Defenderfer, John Defenderfer, Jim Defenderfer and Matthew Defenderfer (Jessamyn); his siblings, Betty Whitworth, Morgan Defenderfer (Milly) and Joe Defenderfer (Peggy); his grandchildren, Jessica Defenderfer and Alex Defenderfer (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Eli, Owen and Max; his grandchildren, Megan Newman and Jacob Defenderfer; his great grandchild Audrey; and his grandsons, Elliot Defenderfer and Benjamin Defenderfer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mott-McKamey Funeral Home (1017 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that contributions be made to one of Bob's favorite charities, East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville.
