As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jack Verlin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hodges and Evelyn Hodges; and his brother Carl Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Rose Hodges; his son Greg Hodges; his sister Brenda Hodges Binder; his brother-in-law David Binder; and his grandson Josh Hodges. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sharon Baptist Church (7916 Pedigo Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
