Though Betty Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Sampson; her sons, Bob Sampson and Bill Sampson (Robin); her grandchild Shawn Sampson; her great grandchildren, Raylee and Kaden; and her grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff), Kevin (Alexandra) and Jacob (Alyssa).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 8:30 AM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
